The building that houses Andaz Prague is an outstanding example of early 20th-century architecture. Constructed in 1916 and designed by renowned Czech architect Antonín Pfeiffer, it features a Late Art Nouveau style with Art Deco elements and originally served as the headquarters of the Czech Sugar Industry Association. The historic building has preserved many of its original architectural details, including its grand façade, decorative stucco work, marble features, and elegant interiors. During the transformation into Andaz Prague, its architectural heritage was carefully restored and seamlessly combined with contemporary design. Today, the building is considered one of the architectural gems of Prague’s New Town, blending rich history with the luxury of a modern five-star hotel.
